i am 16 and sometimes when i poop or cold my penis goes into a hourglass shape or gets skinny then goes back to normal after,everything else is just fine and my penis looks normal when soft (unless it happens) and when i am erect normal.what is it ?

: This sort of thing happens all the time to entirely healthy men. It has to do with variable blood flow to parts of the penis at different times. This is nothing to worry about; almost certainly nothing is wrong.

Here are some...: Generally speaking, all what you described and concerned may be just normal as long as being able to achieve erection timely for what you want to do. Being cold in penis is normal at its flaccid state and nocturnal erection oftentimes is not known to men except they wake up at right time. More? Ask your urologist.

Penile cold sores: This sounds like herpes. It could be either hsv type one or type two. We used to call these "oral" and 'genital' herpes respectively, but these titles were misleading.

One who has cold sores on the penis should have a blood test to see what their herpes antibody titers say and then to have a refillable prescription for Acyclovir or other herpes medication.

You need a good men's health expert.

Phimosis: Foreskin should always be lose and retract easily. See a urologist if this is not the case. Thight foreskin is phimosis and needs treatment either with prescription strength steroid cream, circumcision or prepucioplasty. Latter is performed by surgeon making a vertical incision thru tight are of foreskin and suturing it transversely. This loosens up foreskin and makes it easy to retract.

already had hsv1 mouth.  have had two cold sores on penis since january.  herpeselect test negative for hsv2  at 2.5 months, and again after 5 months.  igg .22 and .54.  can hsv1 migrate to groin?

Doubt penile herpes: Transfer of HSV from one body site to another can happen, but almost entirely during the initial infection; it's rare after more than a few months. So probably you did not infect your penis with HSV1 from your mouth. The HSV2 tests show it isn't HSV2 either. Therefore, it is unlikely the penile sores were herpes. Next time, see a doctor ASAP for exam and PCR test or culture for HSV.

Usually but not much: Cold water causes blood vessels and muscle to contract resulting in the noted shrinkage- warm water may relax these tissues but without sexual stimulation the size change is not dramatic in most men.

Genital herpes: "Cold sores" of the penis is genital herpes. "Multiple" suggests a newly acquired infection, probably HSV1, almost always from oral sex by a partner with oral herpes (cold sores). Your BF should see a doctor ASAP:  diagnosis is most accurate the earlier the patient is seen; and treatment (acyclovir, valacyclovir) must be started within a few days in order to be effective. Blood flow...: Obviously an erection is due to increased blood flow, which immediately decreases after an orgasm.  The penis will be colder! i also suspect, your underpants were off! kidding! don't worry!
