: COVID-19 screening is recommended. Discuss vaccine schedule with your OB. For mild cold symptoms, nasal saline rinses may relieve congestion.A Flu test is also recommended. Watch for shortness of breath and fever.

No: See your doctor if not getting improved in 5 days, can use Aleve (naproxen) cold and sinus, get a flu shot this year.

Please see your OB: Your symptoms may be due to something as simple as environmental allergies, to bronchitis, to sinusitis, to even a blood clot. Please have this evaluated and treated so you are healthy for the delivery.

: Neither of these poses any risk to your baby. For the sake of your and your baby's health you should be under the care of a doctor who can address such issues.

Needs a Provider: Your wife needs to see a Provider.  Severe pain in the stomach and Pregnancy is not normal.  You could try Tums or Zantac (ranitidine) to settle her stomach, but if this does not help, I would find a doctor to help her.

Yes: 1) yes it is safe to use hair dye. Try organic hair dyes though. The systemic absorption of bleach/ chemicals in hair dye is negligible
2). Common cold --- first trimester--- consult your ob/ gyn. Subsequent trimesters, usually, Robitussin (guaifenesin) (otc) is a reasonable option for symptom relief.

Yes: I give a list of medications that are safe to take during pregnancy for a variety of conditions.  In general it is relatively safe to use pseudophed, tylenol (acetaminophen) cold, benedry, afrin or neosynephrine nasal spray and plain robitussin.  However, not knowing your other health problems this is just a general list.

Some: You have not mentioned fever ,myalgia,athralgia etc.As such,you do not have "flu".as we know it but the common cold.Cough syrups can be safe during pregnancy under medical  supervision.See chemist.Or try hot water with lemon juice and honey
A cold is due to a virus and is self limiting.Maintain good hydration and a good caloric intake and nasal steaming with plain water.

Not a pregnancy sx: Classic pregnancy symptoms usually don’t begin until the day your period is missed or after that. These can include: tender or swollen breasts, nausea or vomiting; lack of a period; increased frequency of urination; headaches, insomnia, fatigue. Moodiness, mild cramping, food cravings; passing gas; enlarging waist line. Etc. There may be an ^ in white vaginal discharge.   Take a hpt to know.
