Yes: 1) yes it is safe to use hair dye. Try organic hair dyes though. The systemic absorption of bleach/ chemicals in hair dye is negligible
2). Common cold --- first trimester--- consult your ob/ gyn. Subsequent trimesters, usually, Robitussin (guaifenesin) (otc) is a reasonable option for symptom relief.

PREGNANCY: It is safe to dye your hair during pregnancy. But if you get sick the first trimester, anything can happen with your viral infection, it may or maynot affect your pregnancy.
