Careful: those bandages can be very irritating and I have seen them lead to constrictive problems because they do not remain in place very well.  I would caution you to be very careful when using those type of bandages with diabetic neuropathy

i sprained my ankle almost a month ago, ive been icing it and wrapping it w/ an elastic bandage, it doesn't heal, i can walk, should i get it checked?

Cold,Cold Heart...: One thing you can do before you rush off to have it checked is stop putting ice on it. Ice is good for the immediate injury, but like all reducers of inflammation' it can have chilling effect on the healing rate. Try applying heat and see if the increased blood flow doesn't help. Ligaments have a poor blood supply, so too much cold application can slow the blood flow and slow healing.

Some knowledge of the game  to teach kids how to play, throw, hit, catch and slide is important, but they don't need to have been a competitive athlete. Patience is important as is ability to encourage and instruct without criticism.  Coaches without a child on the team show their dedication.

Yes: Traveling with babies requries some advanced planning. Keep your baby comfortable and bring plenty of supplies (clothes, diapers, etc) as you may experience delays while traveling. Infants under 8 weeks of age are particualry susceptible to infections, so limit exposure to people who could accidentlally spread illness.  If your baby becomes ill or has a fever while traveling call your doctor asap.

When you say : in a low, firm, calm voice, remove him from the couch from behind. Take him to a play area &amp; engage him in a different activity. Spend an afternoon redirecting him till he &quot; gets it.&quot;  Negative or positive attention reinforces a behavior. Raising your voice, scolding or appearing upset will reinforce his couch-climbing. Ignoring a behavior by using time-out works  from 18 mos. to 10 years.
