i am on oxycodone due to a ruptured cyst. is it safe to take with my night pills(lunesta (eszopiclone) 3mg, clonidine.2mg, along with 2 allergy pills)?side effects?

Sedation: The main risk is sedation.  It is never recommended to take sedating medications together but  be aware of the risks.  I would recommend not taking the oxycodone at the same time if you can help it.  You should discuss these concerns with the doc who rxd the medications.

i take clonidine as needed for anxiety. i also take wkly allergy shots. i have to take an epipen (epinephrine) with me to appts. will these two adversly interact?

Seems not.: I looked up the drug interactions for clonidine, and there does not seem to be any significant interactions between the drug and medications that are similar to epinephrine but every person's experience is different so it is good to be mindful.

i have recently been diagnosed with high blood pressure  put on clonidine hydrochloride 0.1 mg .what sinus/allergy meds can i use?

Avoid decongestants: Any drug ending with a -d  will likely raise your blood pressure. Try to avoid it.

i have stage 2 level hbp. why would i be prescribed clonidine er, 0.1 mg twice daily when this is also given to children? is it enough for me?

Different issue: Administration to kids is a relatively later process. It was and is part of the treatment of hbp. It was found to have a calming effect on some kids treated for hbp who also had hyperactivity and other problems. As sometimes occurs with medicine, a side effect became another reason for use. .It is now given to kids with normal BP for several reasons.

Could be: Clonidine lowers blood pressure, slows heart rate, and decreases breathing, so overdose can be potentially fatal. All overdoses of any medications should be evaluated by a medical professional, and if the overdose was taken on purpose, also by a mental health professional. Overdoses may require treatment in the er to pump the stomach or to reverse effects of meds already absorbed.

Not usually: Would certainly not be my first choice, and have never noticed it to be effective in migraine therapy.  Many good choices, and might consider depakote, topirimate, naproxen, indomethacin, or otc riboflavin, co-q10, butterbur, feverfew; also, botox, acupuncture, occipital nerve blocks.  Find a headache expert.

Adrenal Tumor test: Clonidine suppression test is used to diagnose a particular adrenal gland tumor called pheochromocytoma. In this tumor, adrenal glands produce excessive catecholamines (adrenaline, noradrenaline and metanephrines). Clonidine lower blood levels of catecholamines but if a tumor is present, catecholamine levels do not decrease when Clonidine is given. Best site to learn about this is medlineplus.Gov.

been on metoprolol 25mg for a half year. my bp went back to 120/70 from 150/110, is it ok to switch to clonidine which may help with my add too?

Not really: Talking about Beta + Alpha blockade at same time, unless you have severe unrelenting htn, would avoid this combo
