having some clicking in ears when yawning.. trying to pop ears manually while exhaling holding nose.. feels like fluid but not popping.. no ear pain?

Eustachian tube dyfx: When you are yawning the popping you are having is caused by air rushing into the ear when your eustachian tube is opening.  The eustachian tube is a tube that connects your ear to your throat and  opens naturally when you yawn or swallow.   Try popping your ears by plugging your nose and blowing hard. Your ears should pop open. This is called a valsalva maneuver and is very effective.

clicking in ears when swallowing/yawning and tinnitus. both for over a year now. tried anti histamines no results. sometimes stuffy nose and muscus ?

Related?: If the ear problems are related to rhinitis (any combination of nasal congeston, drainage, sinus pain, sneezing etc) then it would be important to determine cause.  Even if related to allergy, oral antihistamines often are not potent enough to relieve symptoms, especially if severe enough to cause eustachian tube dysfunction (inability to clear fluid from middle ear).

i've had dry throat,clicking in ears when i swallow,itchy,mild pain in ear plus phlegm. no fever, fatigue or body aches for 5 days?could it be strep?

Strep throat symptom: The signs and symptoms of strep throat are: 1) Fever and sore throat. 2) Redness of the back of the throat, 3) Lymph nodes or tonsils that are enlarged and tender to the touch, 4) Whitish ulceration over the tonsils.  A patient with all of these may be treated with penicillin; otherwise a throat culture or rapid strep test is usually required to establish the diagnosis.

clicks in ear/throat off and on since nov, went away came back 2 weeks ago daily off and on. i have bfs,tinnitus,tmj,gerd and etd. someone said palatal myoclonus on here? i have an ent and neuromuscular dr. scopes/exam normal. what else could this be?

Common: Usually this means the eustachean tube isn't fully closed.  You can probably ignore this.  If it becomes a major nuisance, an otolaryngologist might be able to help.

No: Could be early infection, wax build up, foreign body in the ear canal(including a bug) or bubbles going through fluid in the inner ear.
Outside chance of it being a nerve dysfunction of the acoustic nerve.

May be: related to temporomandibular joint dysfunction.  You should review this with your doctor and/or dentist, to make sure that if this related to bruxism(clenching your teeth) or malocclusion(misalignment of your teeth/bite) or other factors too.

Before considering any ear/ muscle pathology, I attempt to evaluate the stress you may be experiencing on a daily basis. Symptoms like you are describing can be attributed to TMJ Syndrome. An oral medicine oriented practitioner is recommended. Relaxing muscles around the joints, discussing issues like work, relationships and family concerns may cause the symptoms to disappear. my wife recently had symptoms similar to vertigo. she has been to dr. recently she heard and clicking in her ear. any ideas why?

Vertigo: and clicking in ear MAY be an inner ear infection. Please ask your wife to return to the doctor and tell him/her about the clicking.  Peace and good health.

Tinnitus: Your symptom is unusual. Make an appointment and hearing test with an ENT doctor. You could have eczematoid skin or hair in contact with ear drum so shaking of head makes a sound.
