Probably not: In patients with bipolar disorder, these types of drugs can create unusual amount of energy.  In other patients such as those with unipolar depression, citalopram is not known to commonly cause sleep disturbance.

Yes: Yes, it is probably safe; however, the Prilosec may increase the levels of the celexa. It is wise to space the two out. Prilosec should ideally be taken 30 minutes before your first meal of the day. It should only be used for people who have frequent episodes of heartburn because it can cause osteoporosis long term, especially in females. Have you tried an h-2 blocker like zantac (ranitidine) or pepcid?

Well: You have not been in the medication for very long. It take 4 to 6 weeks to really get into the system for the full effects. Continue on if you can tolerate. Then return to your doctor and report your findings
