every night while laying in bed my circulation feels sluggish, hr counts down from 58 to 51, then there is whoosh of dizziness, followed by electrical shock to sternum area, and hr goes back up to 63.  what is going on here?

Impossible to: say with any certainty, but consult with your doctor.  You might need to have a Holter monitor, which can record your heart rhythm while you are having this episode.

Probably not: Niacin transiently causes vasodilation thereby blood flow increases. This effect is, however, associated ith significantly unpleasant bodily sensation. Again, the dilatation effect of Niacin is short lived.

Circulation: Without delay you should either go to the Emergency Room or make a quick appointment with your doctor. It may turn out not to be a big problem but you do need to find out ASAP.

Yes: If you are diabetic and history of trauma it is possible you have circulation problems. Signs of claudication would be
Leg pain with exercise, leg pain improved with rest, buttock pain

had temp numbness lasting less than 5 mins 4 times in 2yrs while walking.i do get migraines aura no headache.
if tia's why only affecting left hand everytime?could this be panic attack or benign circulation issue would tia keep affecting same area?

home from icu two days ago three blood clots in my lungs i am on blood thinners. yesterday i start experiencing leg pain in my right calf shooting up my leg to my groin area feels like poor circulation should i be worried about another clot.

YES: Symptom you are describing can easily be another clot eithersuperficial or deep in your leg. Given your recent history you need to get checked ASAP to make sure that is not the problem!

Restrict not cut: If the upper band of the knee high is extremely tight and does not have graduated compression, it is possible to cut off circulation similar to a tourniquet but this would tend to produce severe pain. It is more likely to restrict venous return causing swelling.

Prevent it first!: That having been said, i don't know what part of your body has poor circulation: hands, feet?  If it is legs, exercise (regular cardio-type is best) is most important.  If general poor circulation, you may need to r/o several medical conditions with many inbetween, from low thyroid, to anticardiolipin antibodies.  Good exam is most important!

what could cause circulation problems?

Atherosclerosis, etc: Atherosclerosis, diabetes, blood clotting disorders, and obesity, among other things can and often do result in poor circulation.  Inactivity and poor conditioning can also cause this, even with good health, so best to get outside, enjoy some clean air, and, at least, do some waliking.
