If having regular bowel movements results in minimization of the discomfort then this was the problem. Pyelonephritis: It sounds like you have pyelonephritis/ renal infection.  You could have infected kidney stones or an obstructing ureteral stone.  You could have vessico-ureteral reflux or a large  post void bladder residual.  I would recommend that you see a urologist and get a renal/bladder ultrasound and voiding cysto-urethrogram. 1) gallbladder, upper right sided pain
2) pancreas central abdominal pain, radiating to the back
3) Liver.

You need to get some lab tests to find out what is going on. : ast, alt, ggt, ldh etc. lipids, etc

What i would be worried about most is your pancreas, and  your hormone levels. These are the first things 2 check
