Not likely: The symptoms you're describing sound more like acid reflux that is out-of-control than  pain from an ulcer induced by H. Pylori. Most people who have H pylori  have no symptoms from it. If you are having the symptoms mentioned above, you should see your doctor to help diagnose the issue. Good luck.

i have chronic excess throat clearing,excess burping,no heartburn. gastroscopy showed sliding hiatus hernia, is laryngopharyngeal  reflux likely ?

LPR : Laryngopharygeal reflux is when a small amount of acid comes up into the throat and irritates it. It is a common cause of dry tickle cough, chronic sore throat, lump in the the throat , post nasal drip, phlegm in the throat, and throat clearing. Many studies show it responds best to proton pump inhibitor rx. It is possible you may have this. See an ENT for evaluation.

had a pill get stuck on the way down 14 hrs ago. still feel like something is in chest and back like indigestion. burps. what could this feeling be?

Esophageal ulcer: Certain pills can cause ulcers in the esophagus if they get stuck.  Drink plenty of water with pills.  It might help to take antacids or an over-the-counter GERD medicine like omeprazole or famotidine.  It should heal in a week or so.  If you can’t eat or are vomiting you need to go to your doctor or the ER.

Need antacid: Sounds like you might have eaten something that didn't sit too well in your stomach. If you have indigestion with heartburn an OTC proton pump inhibitor could be helpful such as omeprazole. Hope it gets better.

Indigestion: This is a long time for indigestion to last. Perhaps there is an element of esophagitis or gastritis. If you're forcing  yourself to burp, you merely will be swallowing air and creating more gas buildup. Try following a bland, low fat diet, avoid gassy foods or soda, take mylanta to break down gas bubbles and soothe any inflammation. You could also take prilosec. See your MD as needed.

See doc for exam to…: Check for ulcers or esophagus problems like reflux. Avoid gas-forming foods (pop, beans, peanuts, broccoli family, dairy products). Gas-x (simethicone) helps break up gas; beano taken before meal helps break down gas-formers; lactaid/dairy ease helps digest lactose. Activated charcoal caps helps absorb gas. Reflux/ulcers: antacids, zantac, (ranitidine) Prilosec or prevacid.

i wake up each night with indigestion needing to burp, but its every night and im up all night in pain! i take gaviscon and ibs tablets for it?
