MVP : Possible tachycardia induced cardiomyopathy
response to nitro is non specific. At young age still possible for afib to be present. Bilateral atrial enlargement and low normal f ef is typically seen in arrhythmogenic cardiomyopaties.

i've been to the er 4 times and been admitted twice for chest pains that radiates to my shoulder, neck and jaw. tests have been negative but i'm having it again tonight. i'm not sure if i should go back. nitro helps but the pain comes back?

: There are non-cardiac possibilities that could explain this pain. If the cardiac work-up is negative, you should see a GI doctor because there are GI issues that could create a pain like this and get better with nitroglycerin. You should also see a cardiologist to be certain that there is no cardiac component, especially vasospasm of the coronary vessels. Good luck!

Ranolazine: You would be better off with a drug like ranexa, (ranolazine) Ranolazine for your angina. See a cardiologist. Ranexa (ranolazine) can prolong the QT interval.

See your doctor: Chest pain can be from the heart - unlikely in a 38 year old woman but not impossible. It can also be from the esophagus, the chest wall or lungs.  Best bet is to see your doctor and be tested, .
