is it normal to have chest pain and soreness after  asthma attacks and coughing ? my cough is productive and persistent . i am fatigued without fever.

It's possible: It's not uncommon to have chest pain or discomfort associated with asthma or coughing.  If your ribs/chest hurt when you push on it, it's a sign of muscle strain and may be helped with Ibuprofen.  A productive cough can be associated with bronchitis or pneumonia as well.  You should see a doctor to be examined to figure out more specifically what's going on &amp; how best to treat you.

how do i stop asthma attacks so i can excercise ? i can't excercise 10 minutes with out being short of breath having chest pain and lightheadness.

Medication : There are medications that you could take prior to exercise to help with exercise induced asthma. If you have atrial fibrillation, inadequate rate control may also lead to shortness of breath during exercise. Discuss with you doctor.

: Both asthma and anxiety can trigger hyperventilation, which once started, will feed on itself because it raises your blood pH causing real physical symptoms: tingling in your hands, feet, and around your mouth, lightheadedness, chest tightness because your body is literally trying to slow your breathing and will make you faint if it has to. Not heart attack: Just by listening to the presentation, i think you are having a panic attack. Asthma could do this due to hyperventilation, but it seems more like panic attack with hyperventilation and feeling of doom. Go to your doctor and be treated appropriately or at least be reassured and help you cope with the anxiety.
