Inflamation: Some one your age  ( 18 ) with symptoms you have most likely infection in the montgomery glands , that are around the areola .Apply some warm compresses and see your doctor , for   some times needs drain the pus , possible antibiotics  and to make sure you have no other problems in the breast.

Muskeloskletal pain: Do you have F/H of early CAD? Do you have DM, HTN, Obesity? Do you smoke or use recreational drugs? Do you have recent H/O long travel, immobility, hospitalization or surgery. If answers NO, then you may have costocondritis (pain in in rib &amp; joints). If bothers try NSAID's (eg. Motrin). You are too young to have serious cardiac disease. Depends: Does it hurt only when you touch it? Or is it a vague hurt? It is never appropriate to eat while laying down. Yes this could just be gas, if it is usually it should resolve within the day. If it is more and it continues then see your physician.

Non cardiac: Did  you hurt yourself? Did you have fever or cold ? If you did not, so It is probably a muscleesqueletal pain which usually improve taking anti inflammatory such ibuprofen .

Joint pain: There are multiple points where the front of ribs join the breast bone. With this type of trauma you can develop pain in these joints ir the breast bone itself could become cracked. Either would cause pain that could increase with movement or breathing. Local application of cold may help reduce pain as would meds like ibuprofen. Pain should subside in a few days. I doubt you need x-rays.
