Burn: Could be chemical or heat burn . Follow dermatologist's  advice.  Once starts to heal can use vitamin E oil to avoid scarring. If skin burns ice is helpful. Do not put ice directly though. Hope you heal fast and heal well. Oral consumption of Vitamin A , D and C in natural form are helpful for skin healing.

I am not sure: that there is a way to make it less painful. I am not an expert in the field but the waxing facility may offer a product which may numb or help with pain from such a procedure. I think of topical lidocaine, but I don't know if that is practical to use all over the body. Discuss with your waxing specialist. Best of luck!

Reduce pain: I try not to promote any products. But you can use products like No Scream Cream which is about 20% Benzocaine. Consider taking an anti-inflammatory  30 to 45 minutes before waxing.

Depends on goal: As a first trial, you should consider a professional studio which does waxing.  Then you can observe how it is done, how it feels and what the results are.  There are home waxing kits available for the less expensive, personal job although it is difficult to be as thorough when you are doing it yourself.

Yes.: Though you have to watch out for ingrown hairs as the hair regrows, waxing is safe as long as the wax isn't so hot it burns you! some of the skin in the genital area is quite tender, so there can be irritation regardless of the hair removal technique used.

Epilation: Pain!  why would anyone do that?  Why not shave the areas you wish to defoliate.  It is much easier and painless, and cause none of the problems with filling the tiny holes from which hairs are pulled in waxing.  Seriously, shaving hair does not cause it to grow thicker or faster. If it did bald man would shave their heads three times a day!

Sure!: There are downsides to everything. With bikini waxing you are pulling hairs out by the roots; so unless your hair is perfectly straight, there is a good chance that you will get at least some ingrown hairs as the hair grows back. Not a big deal, but unsightly. There is also the risk of folliculitis (bacterial infection in hair follicles) if you don't cleanse area well in the day or 2 after waxing.
