Sure!: There are downsides to everything. With bikini waxing you are pulling hairs out by the roots; so unless your hair is perfectly straight, there is a good chance that you will get at least some ingrown hairs as the hair grows back. Not a big deal, but unsightly. There is also the risk of folliculitis (bacterial infection in hair follicles) if you don't cleanse area well in the day or 2 after waxing.
