Depends on stage: Early cervical cancer usually has no symptoms or signs.  It is important to have regular pap examinations for early detection.  With later stage cancer, there may be irregular bleeding, bleeding with intercourse, ulcer and/or mass on cervix, foul smelling discharge, abdominal pain, urinary problems, weight loss, anemia and if left untreated, death.

They are not: The symptoms of cancer are always somewhat varied. In this regard cervix cancer does what cancers in general do. They bleed(abnormal bleeding) and there is a growth of a tumor on the surface of the cervix which can be easily seen by a doctor(on pelvic examination). When there is a growth, we do a biopsy and cancer can be easily seen under the microscope. So there is nothing confusing about it

Get PAP smear : Early cervical cancer may not have any symptoms. Get PAP smears as recommended by your doctor, or at least once every 3 years.

Confusing post: It is unclear from your post just what your risks are. Just oral ? Which vaccine (there were 2 then) ? Number of partners ? It is unlikely that clots during menses mean you have cancer or HPV, likely another issue. As a sexually active 21 yo you should start getting pap tests anyway, which screens for cervical cancer. There are HPV strains not protected by the early vaccine. Paps are still needed.

See below: Leg pain is not a usual symptoms of cervical cancer, especially in the early stages. In late stages if the cancer spread to the pelvic nodes and causes lymph-edema, that may cause pain in the leg. If you have any concern about cervical cancer, get a PAP smear done through your doctor.

What stage: Leg pains could be due to unrelated vascular problem, or in late stages nerves, vessels could be encroached by the tumor.

No symptoms: Many times these cancers have no symptoms at first. Blood in your urine, feeling like you have to pee all the time, or pain with intercourse might be symptoms. But leg pain is 1000 times more likely to be from something else! make sure to get pap smears to prevent cervical cancer, and try not to worry about cancer. Ask your doctor to help figure out what's causing your leg pain!

Do not panic: Your symptoms could be from just a muscle strain or something else.  Get into your physician and get evaluated.  Get a PAP smear to find out the status of your cervix.

does cervical cancer cause pain in both legs or usually one? there is no swelling at all. no other symptoms. i am scheduled for a pap in january. its few years overdue for one. i have been at gym past two days so might be that. thanks

Need to examine: Pain in the leg would indicate advanced cervical cancer. If you do not have abnormal bleeding your gym explanation is as good as any. Do keep your PAP appointment. It is not too late to get HPV vaccine.

my period ended last sunday, august 22nd. but the past few days, when i was wiping, there is a spot of blood. i dont have other symptoms like back/leg pain/ pelvic pain, and when i pee, it doesnt hurt. hoping its not cervical cancer?

: What you described is more likely residual blood from your period. If you have not had PAP smear test, it is imperative that you see your doctor to get tested.
Get HPV vaccine.
