Red spot on knee: You need to see a doctor asap as it seems like there is an infection in the skin. It could be deeper than it may seem and the white spots are most llikely from the spreading of the infection. Very rarely there could be abscess as well.See your doc asap.

Tinea versicolor: It's possibly tinea versicolor. It's caused by a fungus, which blocks the sunlight from activating the melanocytes (pigment cells) in your skin. With sun exposure, the skin around it tans but the fungal area stays white. Sounds: Like it may be a form of fungus. However, because he is diabetic it would be prudent to have it examined by a podiatrist or dermatologist.

is this athlete's foot? a while ago my pinky toe began to hurt really badly, i look and i see that there is a rash in between my pinky toe along with white spots(?), liquid comes out too, it hurts alot when scratched or rubbed often against other toe?

: It is possible that this could be athletes foot, however it is possible this may be an infection or a form of dermatitis.
It would be best to have it evaluated by a podiatrist.

?spinal cord: Multiple sclerosis can involve both brain and spinal cord, and you could have involvement of the latter, even with normal spinal fluid at this point.  Other considerations should be included, as you need to get this pinned down. Suggest, an EMG to evaluate peripheral nerves, series of blood studies to assess other diagnoses, and a cervical MRI to more fully evaluate ms.

Stasis dermatitis: This could be small drops f blood in skin. This can come from varicose veins. If however they are of recent onset they could represent a condition called vasculitis which is an allergic reaction to a drug, or possible underlying infection. Either way see a doctor for evaluation. It is difficult to remove the color of changes from varicose veins.
