Normal at some stage: Not all women pop but most do - and no - it does not reveal the gender of the baby. Now, it is easy to determine that for most OBGYN doctors - ultrasound may show the genitals too. But this was just an idea people had. No more. Best wishes for your birth.

This symptom is not: An indicator for pregnancy. Take a pregnancy test if you have missed your period. Classic pregnancy
sxs begin when period is missed or thereafter (6-8 wks). Possible sx’s : tender /swollen breasts, nausea or vomiting; lack of period; ^ frequency of urination; headaches, insomnia, fatigue. Moodiness, mild cramping, food cravings ; aversions; passing gas; enlarging waist line ; ^ white, milky.

Umbilical pain: Yes.  That said so can a number of other things.  Make sure you are not pregnant, have no fevers and no other major symptoms or findings.  Stay hydrated.  Increase your fiber.  Try miralax (polyethylene glycol).  Read up on irritable bowel syndrome.  Write back as you need to.  Thanks and good luck/stay well.

Lower abdominal pain: Lower abdominal pain in women can be a complicated issue to evaluate because it can be issues involving the urinary tract, the uterus and ovaries, the bowel/rectum. It would be best to have your provider who can do a good GYN exam and also evaluate these other areas see you within the next few days.

Unlikely: If you have 3 negative home pregnancy tests it is unlikely that you are pregnant even if your last period was 2 months ago. There are many possible causes for this along with nausea,feeling gaasy and mid-abdominal cramping. See your PCP, GYN, or an urgent care clinic for a full history, exam, and appropriate testing to find out what the problem is and begin treatment. Hope you feel better fast.

Pain: My guess is that this is muscular pain of the abdominal muscles due to repeated vomiting.

Many causes: There are many causes but common causes in a 16 years old would be irritable bowel syndrome and gastritis or peptic ulcer. Both these conditions can cause abdominal pain after eating. A good history and exam by a physician should be able to diagnose and treat it. She should see her family physician.
