You need a good MD: for good history and physical examination, and sorting out what would be the cause(s) for your symptoms. I am not aware of latent jaundice, and whether it would lead to keratosis pilaris, a skin condition unrelated to the liver. Depends: What you have is a skin rash which may sometimes be loosely called eczema by some. The potential causes range from a contact allergy , fungal infection to psoriasis. If topical hydrocortisone does not help, you would need to consult your doctor or a dermatologist.

If the skin is very dry, itching could result even without an obvious rash. If it suddenly occurred overnight, it is is possible that is is due to a reaction from something in the bed like bed bugs. Try OTC antihistamines (zyrtec, allegra) to see if rash resolves. If not, please see primary care provider.

There : There are many causes of a rash including eczema, psoriasis, medication reaction, internal causes, and many others.  The most likely cause this time of year is probably eczema.  To start with, i would recommend using cerave hydrating cleanser in the shower and use cerave cream twice daily.  Consider a visit to a dermatologist if the problem persists.  They can help diagnose you and prescribe more specific treatment depending on the type of rash you have.  I hope this helps!

Different causes: There are different causes of this type of rash includung allergy to foods, medications, etc. Have a physician or dermatologist evaluate the rash if still present. In the meantime if you're uncomfortable you could take Benadryl (diphenhydramine) for the itch but be aware that it can cause drowsiness. Claritin is less effective but does not cause drowsiness.
