Allergic reaction: Itchy bumps on the wrist usually means that you got something on your wrist that you are allergic to.
 You are on prednisone.  This should help them to go away more quickly.  Hydrocotisone 1% cream might help and does not require a prescription. Apply cold water when they are itching and this will usually stop the itchy  you may need a prescription cream.   Rash usually goes away in 6  on its own.

Bumps: Dermatitis: contact or other would be first thought.  Cellulits, skin tumors. Would need to get some more story to determine.

a bump about the size of half a marble has appeared on the back of my left hand, slightly above the wrist. i just became aware of it today, and while it does not cause me excessive pain, it does ache and hurts a bit if i put pressure on it. whatcould it b

Ganglion Cyst: Not serious. Can be aspirated with a 16or 18g needle, and injected with steroids. If no improvement, surgical excision an option.

i have a rash on my neck, face, and wrists. raised bumps, very itchy. im taking 50mg of carbimazole daily  could it be the cause?

: Skin rash is a know side effect of carbimazole. However, you should not stop taking the medication without talking to the doctor who prescribed it. It also requires taking more history and physical examination to ascertain the cause of the rash. It would be prudent to see your doctor.

Possible but: Unusual to involve these areas alone. Do they itch?  How long has this been present?   If this has been present for at least a few weeks and itch, then eczema would be the most likely cause for a child of this age.

Contact allergy?: If the problem is confined to the hands and wrists, then a contact allergy should be suspected (soap. lotion, latex gloves, chemicals).    Topical hydrocortisone cream may help but avoidance is the only answer.  May consult a dermatologist if problem persists since patch skin test may well reveal the culprit.

i have been diagnosed with a carpal boss and am having and mri scan tomorrow. i'm wondering what causes the pain around the bump, cause when i press on some of my tissue or bones around it (on the lower part, near the wrist), it hurts really bad?

: Carpal boss is not a medical term. Hopefully by now you have had the imaging study and received proper treatment for the malady.
For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.

rash on trunk.i think scabies.2derms say no cause not on hand/wrist & biopsy of old bump from arm was neg.new bumps.doxepin=mild itch/tickle. advice??

Scabies not likely: Anybody else itchy? Any pets? Diagnoses by 2 derms? Treatment and result? Severe itch? When and where?
