Infection?: If your nose is sore and bruised without trauma - i would think infection... Get it checked asap.

65 year old female and frequent, lengthy nose bleeds.  bruise easily -cause?

Bleeding disorder?: I would like to get a thorough history: has this been happening for many years or is it recent? The most common cause is taking an anticoagulant, like aspirin, or vitamin e, garlic, Ibuprofen etc. Would also probably get a platelet count.  Usually it's nothing major, but it should get checked out.

what can i do if i can't suction 9mo's nose? she's too forceful and i've bruised her nose twice (husband's away). will this cause ear infection?

Nasal suction: You need to be carful not to use too much force to suck the mucus. Must install saline nose drops or spray before suction to loosen up the mucus, hold the child &amp; be careful not to hurt the baby in the process. Ear infection can result from nasal congestion. Good luck

Probably patience: If everything is healing, and they eye is working normally, then allow the healing to continue.  Blood pools in soft tissue after trauma and can take quite a while to completely resolve. Give it another 2 weeks unless you are having trouble with your vision, breathing, or sinuses.  Take care!

i woke up with purplish bruising near my nose on both sides its near where the inner corner of youre eyes near where the nose is what could cause this ? i havent been feeling well had a fever 101.4 and coughing ( not covid ?

: Could you have had running nose and blowing or wiping your nose? You should probably use soft wipe to reduce bruising. There a number of circulating viruses like influenae, RSV apart from COVID; to know what is causing symptoms you may need to be tested so you could be treated if you have risk factors that could lead to severe illness otherwise rest, increase warm fluid intake and help body fight.

ECCHYMOSIS: ECCHYMOSIS in a young woman demands prompt attention. You need full blood workup for clotting disorders and autoimmune problems. If you have had a recent URI you may have bone marrow supression and severe platelet deficiency.   IE  TTP VS ITP.  SEEK PROMPT MEDICAL EVALUATION . FACV level/MTHFR/PROTEIN C&amp;S/RPR/AT3/CIRCULATING LUPUS ANTICOAGULANT/ANTICARDIOLIPID ANTIBODY. Also HEE CONSULT
