: I don't consider this a cause for worry. They enlarge in response to some stimulus which might be on the local external skin or inside the mouth. They generally shrink back to resting size in 2-4 weeks. If continuously stimulated, they stay swollen.

It depnds on its siz: You should monitor the size of your lymph gland. If it is less than 1.5 cm, it may not be anything to worry about. But if it is getting bigger and gets to be 2 cm or larger, then you should consult your doctor, as a biopsy may be desirable to find the cause. Nothing immediately to worry about,  but check if it is growing over the next 1-2 months or not..
