Phenergan (promethazine): Phenergan (promethazine) is generally not recommendedfor children under 2 years of age since it can affect their breathing. Benadryl would be a better choice

Yes: Otrivin is a local decongestant, should not be used more than few days in a row, as continuous use would lead to rebound congestion, and shouldn't be used if you have cardiovascular disease, hypertension, diabetes, and others. Phenergan (promethazine) continuous usage can lead to tolerance: you need more of it after some time to have the same effect. See an allergist or ENT/ophthalmologist for management, good luck

See your doc : There are several causes of these symptoms- some are dangerous. It's best to be evaluated by a gynecologist first. You don't want to miss conditions such as gallbladder inflammation, appendicitis or some infection that could lead to complications in your pregnancy. Hope this helps.

Unlikely: Neuroleptic malignant syndrome has been rarely observed during treatment with promethazine. It usually occurs within the first 30 days after exposure to neuroleptics. One case noted in 1999: Neuroleptic malignant syndrome due to promethazine.
Chan-Tack KM1. It occurred after 2 days in this case. If suspected it is an emergency situation.

Yes: Some significant possible adverse effects of Phenergan (promethazine) involving the central nervous system include catatonic states, confusion, delirium, disorientation, dizziness, drowsiness, euphoria, excitation, faintness, fatigue, hallucinations, hysteria, insomnia, lassitude, nervousness, nightmares, sedation, seizure, and somnolence. I am not sure of the individual frequencies of these side effects.

Phenergan: is a strong atni-histamine of the :old fashioned" variety 
producing SLEEPINESS as a major effect not just a "side" effect and like ANY SLEEPING MED it can cause confusion and memory issues.... these effects should subside even after chronic use and if the effects persist a complete NEUROLOGIC evaluation is a must!

Yes: Not a prominent side effect , but it's structurally similar to some of the older antipsychotics, has small effects on dopamine, and thereby a negative effect.

my dr gave me norco 10mg 1 tab prn and phenergan 25mg for my knee cause i injured it going see orthopedic can i take both of them at same time. ?

Pain : Yes the Norco is for pain and the Phenergan is to prevent any upset of your stomach caused by the Norco
