Different progestero: These are examples of two different kinds of progesterone. They can be used similarly but they are not the same thing. It would be up to your doctor which one to give you.

Bleeding on pill?: If you are bleeding while on depo-provera, it may be due to a thin lining of your uterus. Consider asking your gyn for a pelvic sonogram and check this. Maybe you need a little extra estrogen to make your lining thicken to stop the bleeding. Usually Estradiol 2 mg for only 10 days. It is easy and safe.

Chest pain: Yes and it is not rare to occur.  Best to see an allergist to determine the cause and to help you prevent complications e.g. Asthma.

Angioedema: Lip swelling is a common area for angioedema to occur.  Other areas are tongue, around eyes and genital area.  Sometimes it can be top, bottom, left or right side of lip.  The reaction is generally similar to a hive but at a deeper tissue level.  Triggers can be allergy to medication, foods, or idiopathic (unknown).  An unusual hereditary angioedema can affect the lips and throat.

Rhinitis: About 20% of people develop rhinitis.
Rhinitis is inflammation of the nose due to overactivity of t cells in the nose. Mild irritants will increase symptoms, i.e., irritant rhinitis. In 80% of rhinitis cases there is allergic antibody production so there is an also allergic component. In the other 20% of cases no allergic antibodies are produced and symptoms are only aggravated by mild irritants.

An allergic reaction is caused by your immune system recognizing those unique proteins and causing a reaction.  Luckily it is fairly rare, so other foods don't cause a reaction and you can eat them.
