Medication/Itching: According to litt's d.E.R.M. Manual, drug eruptions & reactions manual, metoprolol can cause itching in 1-5% of patients and 
flecainide can cause itching in 1% of the population.

my ep prescribed flecainide for my benign pvcs/pacs. should i get a 2nd opinion cause i'm scared to take a heart med for something that's "benign"?

Benign ectopy: Perhaps there is something of greater concern (to your cardilologist) on your cardiac studies.  However, if your echo is unremarkable,  and your holter exam shows pacs and pvcs without ventricular tachycardia or atrial fibrillation, then obtaining a second opinion is reasonable before initiating an anti-arrhythmic med.

pfo closure. also on warfarin for same reason. i'm afraid of the flue injection - any advice?

Flu injection: The flu is a significant risk and the shot is usually a lower risk than the risk of hematoma from the shot in someone on warfarin. You should discuss this with your Dr. who is familiar with your anticoagulation state and your history of problems with it.

Heart issues: If you are on those medications you must have a heart condition that could potentially be causing the swelling in your feet. See your heart doctor to be checked.

No danger: Your sodium level is just one point below the lower limit of normal and that is not a dangerous situation. You may have just taken water before the test.

can amiodarone cause blindness? ive had a bout of afib for 5 days and my doctor wanted to use this. i declined so now am trying flecainide.

Atrial fibrillation: Amiodarone has various side-effects. Visual disturbances noted, but I am not aware of any documented cases of blindness with the medication. Flacainide is an alternative. Other medications to consider for atrial fibrillation include: calcium channel blockers, Beta blockers, Ibutilide, Propfenone, Procainamide and digoxin.  I would also recommend taking some mag glycinate along with your medication

This is normal: Eosinophils and Basophils are normally present on low numbers and count of zero for either of these cell types is not an abnormal result.

ive begun using omeprazole and went into af. i took flecainide/bisopresol. ive suddenly gained 5lbs in 3 days. i was dieting and lost 1.5 stone - on exact same diet gained 5lbs. no swollen ankles. one drugs must be the cause. which one more likely?

: Flecainide is likely the culprit. A 5 pound gain is 3 days is rarely a true weight gain but more likely a fluid gain although you have not observed ankle edema yet. Good luck.
