See below: You will be more prone to cavities and brittle teeth.  Seeing your dentist more frequently  reduces your risk and you do need to let your dentist know that you have sjogren's.  Avoiding prolonged exposure to sugar such as sucking on hard candy that is not sugar-free helps reduce your risk. Sometime using products such biotene/oasis can help. Medications such as Evoxac (cevimeline) and salagen may help moisture.

Viral syndrome: It sounds like you may be dehydrated, so would start drinking water and  continue to drink more fluids.  Often when you have a viral illness you don't eat very much and have  increased loss of fluids from fevers or vomiting or diarrhea.  So start drinking healthy fluids!

Kidney test: If you have not already done so, get with your physician and see whether you can concentrate your urine above specific gravity 1.020.  We want to rule diabetes insipidus (pituitary, renal) in or out; i trust your general medical labs are unremarkable and you are not diabetic.

ANA not impressive: An ANA of 1:80 is not impressive especially in a speckled pattern and is borderline positive at best. Are your ssa and ssb antibodies positive? If they are not, get a 2nd opinion.

It is possible: It is possible, especially if you are taking any medication to battle ibs. Many drugs can cause dry mouth as a side effect. Ask you doctor and see if your dentist has any suggestions to combat the dry mouth.

I would first consult with your primary care physician about the other symptoms, then ask for a psychiatric or therapist referral to deal with the anxiety; which is the most common reason for all your symptoms. No.: All glands can be affected by Sjögren's syndrome but this is not a typical gland in that disease.  The most common areas are parotid glands and salivary glands.   To diagnose the problem you should have dry eyes and mouth as well as gland swelling and either abnormal labs (ANA, SS-A, or SS-B antibodies).  Ultrasound of the gland is also now being used to help in some cases.

Many causes: If the dryness is new, it may be dehydration, a medication side effect, or part of an infection.  If it lasts longer, work-up would consider the above options as well as others, such as a possible auto-immune or thyroid issue, or other problems.

Medications: There are a number of perscription and over the counter medications that can be responsible for both a dry mouth and frequent urination at night. Check with the dr. Perscribing any meds to see if there may be other options or treatments to minimize these unplesant side effects.
