Not Likely: Primary angiitis of the central nervous system (pacns), is a rare disorder specifically targeting the CNS blood supply. Its' cause is unknown. It is thought to be triggered by infection but no specific agent has been identified. I could find no association with brain injury.

Stroke trauma hmrg: Virtually all forms of brain injury result in some type of brain swelling. I would say the top three would be stroke, trauma and tumor.

Yes: The difficulty in understanding speech is called receptive aphasia. This  may improve over time depending on the extent and location of the injury. Rehabilitative therapy may help  optimize recovery.

Hard to say: With severe brain injury severe twitching may be a seizure. If it is mild or focal twitching, it may be a reflection of the brain injury and the irritability of the brain. This may lead to disorganized electrical activity which may lead to the "twitching".

Sort of...: Head injury can injure the brain in such a way that the symptoms mimic bipolar disorder with impulsivity, irritability and mood instabilty.  It wouldn't be true bipolar per the dsm but we would essentially treat it the same way with mood stabilizers and possibly antidepressants.
