Pancreatitis?: This could be a sign of mild pancreatitis which if left untreated, could be dangerous. I suggest seeing your doctor, going on a clear liquid diet or if you have any abdominal pain, only drink water before seeing your doctor. Also avoid any alcohol, tylenol (acetaminophen) or pain medications until further evaluation.

would a ct with contrast diagnose a gallbladder or pancrease (pancrelipase) issue? or are ultrasounds possibly an endoscopy better at finding problems?

US for GB, CT panc: CT is much better for pancreas evaluation because overlying bowel gas limits US visualization in most patients. Because 90% of gallstones are made of cholesterol, they don't show up on CT.  Ultrasound is moderately better at detecting acute cholecystitis.  CT is much better for pancreatitis or pancreatis. Routine fiber optic endoscopy has no role.  Endoscopic US is not a screening exam.

they found a "spot" on my adrenal gland during a cat scan (for a completely separate issue). should i be worried?

No: Adrenal nodules are commonly found this way. A patient with a nonfunctioning mass &lt;3 cm should be followed up with appropriate CT scans (or MRI). If the mass has not grown at the 3-month or 1-year follow-up, no further testing is recommended. If the mass does grow within 1 year, adrenalectomy is recommended or if &gt;4cm and nonfunctioning it is recommended for removal.

ok, cat scan showed small spot on rt kidney, blood test revealedkidney not working so great, cuz it is small right now, wait recheck 6 mo, should i worry?

Relax: If it was small enough to warrant just watching, then it likely means there is no difference in outcomes with a 6 month waiting period.  If you want to be completely at ease, get the ct report and images, and ask your doctor to show them to a urologist.

i have concerns about a cat scan that showed a spot on my liver in march 2017 and then it was bigger in sept 2017 1.6-2.6cm 
i was supposed to get mri of it but i did not due to fear of mri now im worried ive missed something big ..

See doctor: There is nothing to be afraid of an MRI. MRI is not the only imaging method that could be used. Ultrasound examination may help. Even repeat CT may be useful. Do see your doctor for a consultation.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

Tissue density: Basically speaking, the darker the area the lower the density.  Air would be the darkest, water less and bone the lightest.  In a non contrast CT, bile filled areas such as the ducts gall bladder or cysts may be the darkest.  This will change if an IV contrast is added during the examination.  There are always variations to this based on different pathologies

The Drs. can explain: One website says bone involvement in sarcoid has ranged between 1 and 13 percent, with an average of 5 percent. An accurate percentage is difficult to obtain as many skeletal lesions are asymptomatic and screening skeletal surveys are not routinely performed. Lytic lesions are cortical defects in the involving the cortex of the bone. That implies darker spots in the skull may be sarcoidosis.

DDx: I see a lot of multiple myeloma, so i think of lytic (punched out) lesions in the skull (calvarium) as myeloma. However other cancers such as squamous cell cancers (head/neck, lung, etc) can produce lytic lesions. Sometimes veins going through bone can produce "holes" that are normal. The differential diangosis (ddx) is broad -- eg http://www.Calvariallesions.Com/index.Html.

2 ct scans revealed a spot on kidney. spot has not grown in size. what could this be?

See below: Most "spots" on kidneys are cysts which are generally benign.  It would be important to know how long it was stable. Ie was it 4 months or 4 years? We see more kidneys with spots than without in people of your age so it's probably nothing to worry about, but would still follow your docs recommendations. The radiologist may be able to be a little more specific or could confirm w/ ultrasound.
