Hyoid click: Doubtful- the clicking is common with a lax hyoid and as long as your thyroid is normal in size and shape, do not panic. Good idea to make an appointment for an ultrasound of the thyrod and a medical exam.

i felt some pain and clicking in my knees, a specialist told me that i wore down some cartilage. will that ever go back again , to like it used to be?

No: It will not regrow. However, that diagnosis would be very unusual in a 23 year old. I would urge getting another opinion about the knee. See a rheumatologist or orthopedist again.

if i move nose, the cartilage area makes click/popping noises. no pain. some minor congestion. recently had a small impact to nose. what to do?

Leave it alone: Recent injury may have caused some of the cartilages/tissues there to come loose..Thus some clicking may be observed with movement. If it is no pain, no need to treat. Just leave it alone for awhile to allow complete healing which should resolve the clicking.
If in doubt, consult your doc..

No: Knee clicking or "crepitus" can be caused by a torn cartilage, ganglion cyst, patella chondromalacia, synovitis, swelling (also known as an "effusionn"), or knee laxity.  Some normal knees click.  Clicking is a nonspecific finding that can be associated with both normal and abnormal knees.

i have an enlarged inferior turbinate in my right nostril for about two months now (asymptomatic). i did notice that the cartilage in my right nostril easily makes faint clicking sounds whenever i clean my nose.is my swollen turbinate the cause of it?

Turbinate : If you are noticing a difference in 1 side of your nose versus the other with the type of swelling you were describing, it would be best to have an exam by an ENT doctor to see if your septum is normal and also to see if you have any type of growth or polyp that may be causing the symptoms you are describing.

when swallowing, something in sidemy throat seems to be moving and pressing hard against the wall of my throat, it's below thyroid cartilage. also i feel sick almost like my stomache is squeezed everytime i swallow saliva.

Ans: You need to see an ENT to possibly be scoped. Think if you swallows somethings earlier and perhaps got stuck in your throat. Go back to when you first noticed the problem. Don't waste time in being seen for this. Go to your pmd and get referred

Pain? Discomfort?: "clicking" by itself is nothing to worry about. As long as you're not having pain or discomfort or difficulty swallowing it is just a "sound". If you are having pain or difficulty swallowing then you should see an ENT doctor for an evaluation.

That is normal: The voice box rises up and down during swallowing and its cartilage back wall can rub against the front wall of the cervical vertebrae making a clicking noise in some people.

Sometimes normal: During a swallow, the voice box is elevated by muscles in the neck in order to protect from aspiration and allow passage of the food or liquid bolus into the esophagus.  Sometimes during these movements the ligaments or attachments or cartilages themselves  can make clicking or popping sounds.  Without symptoms of pain, there is nothing to worry about.
