No.: It is not advisable to use triamcinolone (a steroid cream) on the face.  Steroids are designed to be used as temporary anti-inflammatory agents on rashes.  They work by suppressing the immune system. Over a period of time, the immune system adjusts and needs stronger steroids to obtain the same result. In addition, they destroy collagen in the skin which ages skin and they can cause steroid acne.

Helps with itching: Triamcinolone=steroid is sometime combined with antifungal cream to help with severe itching/irritation (inflammation). Steroid itself does not treat the ringworm. Lamisil, lotrimin, or tinactin (tolnaftate) are available otc and are often adequate to treat commom skin fungal/ringworm infections on skin (not beard/scalp areas). If not better in about 2 wks, consult doc for proper diagnosis/treatment. Good luck.

No: Only antifungals will kill fungal infections. Purchase otc terbinafine, lotrimin or any topical antifungal and apply as directed. You must also purchase a antifungal spray powder such as micatin or tinactin (tolnaftate) and spray your shoes you wear once a week to kill the fungal spores in your shoes to prevent reoccurrence. Triamcinolone is a topical steroid and will not kill the fungal infection.

: Usually thirty minutes should be sufficient. Use daily eczema cream several times per day

Facial rash: Consult a dermatologist for proper diagnosis and treatment. In the meantime have you eliminated cosmetics, perfumes, hair spray? Antibiotics are prescribed for types of acne.

Depends: It depends on what kind of bumps they are. Triamcinolone could make them worse rather than better. It would be best to be seen by your PCP or GYN to be sure what kind of bumps they are and treat them appropriately. Hope this helps.
