NO: I would not mix these two forms of the same medicine since you cannot rely on the extended form being absorbed correctly and OVERDOSE of Sudafed is VERY dangerous (heart...blood pressure)

: Yes, the albuterol inhaler will not affect the Sudaphed dose and vice-versa. If you are having breathing difficulties that do not improve with these interventions, call your doctor. If your breathing worsens, go to the nearest ER or urgent care. Good luck to you!

i took 1 pill of buspirone 5 mg and got a bad side effects. how long does it take to get out of my system ? also can i take sudafed  while i have buspar in my system?

I would allow: 24 hours to have effects of Buspirone completely out (it's probably sooner but I would allow outer limit) If you are taking Buspar for ANXIETY I would NOT take Sudafed since Sudafed side effect=anxiety!!

Pseudoephe: Insomnia is a common side effect from pseudoephedrine and I have not recommended it use for at least a decade. Be sure to aim the Flonase towards the sides of the nose and not in the center and see if this works better. If not, time to see a doctor to see if you may have a sinus infection.

my doctor prescribed pseudoephedrine hydrochloride as a decongestant ive only taken 1 tablet 4 hrs ago and im itching all over. its like insects crawling over my skin. theres no rash. is this an allergic reaction? do i take next tablet?thanks?

: Most likely you are having an adverse reaction, don't take your next dose until you talk to your doctor. Drink plenty of water.

Same class: While they are both in the class of so called ACE-Inhibitors, they still may affect you different and it is not always easy to figure out the dose equivalent since the milligrams for each drug can be different. So I say get some advice regarding the dosages you have available and whether it would work safely for a few days.

Yes: In fact Loratadine does nothing to decongest the nose.

Yes: Pseudoephedrine and the Antihistamine Meclizine is a Decongestant Antihistamine combination . So it is okay in case of allergic Rhinosinusitis!

Accepted Answer

Maybe: I try to avoid recommending sudafed to people who have high blood pressure. People with diabetes also would be better to avoid it. But if it is once in a while and taking safer measures such as nasal saline, nasal steroid fail to relief nasal congestion then i would say it is not a big issue to take a few of them.
