Talk w/your Dr: They have loosely related effects, so in theory could cause excess effect/side effects. If you are improving, should talk to your dr and decide together if should withdraw one and check for change or leave things as are.

Possibly: It would depend on what it is compined with and on your particular metabolism.  But there are also possible reactions and damage short of death, and nothing positive to be gained.

Doctor's instruction: With any prescription including zoloft/sertraline, it is highly recommended that you follow your doctor's prescription exactly as indicated on the bottle. The dose range for zoloft is generally 25 mg to a maximum of 200 mg daily. The dose of this medication generally does not shift quickly since it takes time to see results at a given dose (several weeks). Contact your doctor if not sure.
