Duration : The duration of action of Amitriptyline is ~18 hours and is usually dosed once daily.  Using it twice a day may be to prevent side effects.  Please ask your doctor why this is being done in your case.

im taking klonopin .05mg 2 pills a day,take amitriptyline 50mg at night.dr gave me prozac (fluoxetine) 10mg 1 time a day during the day. is this safe to take all 3?

See my remark: Toviaz (fesoterodine) is a once daily use as a anticholenergic -used for overactive bladder-
You can use Amitryptyline at night   don't make it routine

Yes: Very common for patients to take a benzodiazepine (ativan) and tricyclic antidepressant. probably wouldn't take them together.

will e-mycin treat a uti? can i take endep (amitriptyline) 10 whilst on e-mycin? (helps my weak bladder) at night

UTI: Erythromycin will only work for a UTI if the organisms causing the infection are sensitive to it.  Other antibiotics are more likely to be selected than this one.  It is safe with endep, (amitriptyline) though.  Please see your physician about your UTI -- commonly caused by gram-negative bacteria requiring another type of antibiotic than erythromycin.

None: 10mg is smallest pill available for Amitriptyline which is an antidepressant. Tapering off any medication under physician supervision should not lead to "side effects" but original symptoms that led to prescription may return. So stay in close contact w/your prescribing physician just in case you need to restart medication.

Less than a week: It takes 1-2 days for amitryptyline and its byproducts to drop to half the starting level. Over 95% is out by 5-10 days.

Depends: It isn't clear the types of headaches you are experiencing - tension, migraine, cluster etc.  The use of amitriptyline may be good for some but not other types of headaches.  Suggest you repost with the type of headaches your health care provider has diagnosed in order for an opinion on this forum.

In general yes: Yes but it largely depends on the dose of each.
