OB/GYN or FP: Twins can be a wonderful blessing, but the pregnancy may have more risks than a single baby.  A doctor who knows how to watch for growth problems, gestational diabetes, preterm labor, and preeclampsia is important. Unknown : you mention that your ten wren soon was good. I assume that done by a professional under the guidance of your doctor. You mention a 12 week ultrasound being done at work but did not say who was doing it, their level or training or the equipment being used. Schedule a follow up with your doctor to verify all is well. Ultrasounds should be done under their guidance and supervision

im 6 weeks today is 56, 875 hgc level high, single or twin? i had an ectopic in june. i've had a scan could see sac in right place but see nothing else.

Have to wait: Since you are only 6 weeks it is too early to see. You will have to wait until next week when your doctor will likely want to repeat the sonogram. Then you will know if you have one or two. Trying to guess based on a HCG level does not work.

Yes: Depending on how thorough the study &amp; the training of the tech, missing a fetus is possible. Regular US is a 2 dimensional study and you only see what your probe lights up.

Just one episode?: A doctor can check to see if there is any worrisome medical issue, if a woman has unusual menstrual-related symptoms. Many women have some variation of their periods or a missed period on occasion. Some women feel normal after a few days, but others do have bothersome symptoms and need follow-up with their doctors. Brief symptoms, but followed by complete normalcy, is usually reassuring.

had an ultrasound at 11w1d. one twin was moving but i didnt see the other move much. both had strong heart beats. the scan was only about 5 minutes but now that im home thinking should i be concerned i only saw one baby move? is this normal?

US not focused long: 5 minutes is not long time to be focused on twin pregnancy. Don't worry not moving baby was likely taking a nap or a rest. You will notice that one baby, in any pair of twins, is often much active than the other. Good Luck with the pregnancy and the twins.

Definitely ask : We can not comment on this since we did not not view the ultrasound. This is a very good question to ask your doctor. Ask them to clarify their concerns and ask them to clarify the plan going forward. Will a follow up sonogram be done? What specific anomaly were they concerned about? Did they feel referral to a specialist was warranted?

Once your Fallopian tubes have been rejoined, twin prospects are not very frequent unless you have a genetic predisposition for the same. The use of ovulation induction drugs makes multiple gestations more likely, but twins are a lot of "work" and expense.
