: I know that biotin can interfere with results of certain blood tests and probably is best withheld before getting lab work. It can also interfere with actions of certain meds&amp;chemotherapy. I don't find adverse effects with diabetes or their meds. 10000 mcg is a reasonable dose. Your pharmacist can advise you further about biotin &amp; diabetes.

: Contrary to internet buzz, there's probably little actual problem at all with biotin and the HIV antibody or AgAb tests. However, biotin's half life in the blood is 15 hours. (Two hours is the time to peak concentration.) If you want to avoid the theoretical issues, wait 3-4 half lives (2-3 days) before HIV testing.

Vitamins: Biotin does not thin blood. The major side effect of the gnc  battery is taking rupees from your pocket for something that has not been proven to work and it can contain anything they want to put in it as their products are controlled by any agency.

: It may. More than 10mg of biotin interferes with many tests, including test for ferritin.
For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.

Depends: Only tests using Biotin as part of the indicator system are affected by taking biotin. Urine pregnancy tests are not affected by intake of biotin and you could do a home pregnancy test if you missed your period by 4-5 days.
Have a healthy diet, exercise 30 minutes/day, drink plenty of water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.

Tests are accurate: Today's pregnancy tests are very accurate and not affected by foods, herbs, common illnesses, sexually transmitted diseases, vaginal spotting, vitamin supplements, biotin or other supplements, or medications. A test gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (or when conception might have happened) or 1 week after missing a period.

Iron: Iron supplements are best taken with food to avoid stomach irritation and add a stool softener daily to prevent constipation. I recommend taking the other supplements either before or after taking iron. Be aware that iron can make stools appear black. Your pharmacist can also advise you about your medications.
