Do not worry: Most closed head injuries by far are very benign, and kids are very resilient.  Your description is typical of a fully resolved bruise over the scalp, and sounds only like he has upper respiratory tract infection now.  However, if he seems very sleepy, has repetitive nausea and vomiting, and seems to act in unusual way, contact pediatrician just to reassure.

More info: there are too many factors involved in brain bleeding  to answer your question, too many variables. Why are you asking  did you or someone you know have a "brain bleed"?  If so you should be followed closely by a Neurosurgeon.  Some can be instantaneously deadly and some can take weeks.  Many bleeds get better on their own.  See you doctor quickly or go to ER if you think you have a bleed

Yes.: Head trauma can produce a slow bleed, but symptoms are progressive and unlikely to consist of vertigo alone.  Vertigo is not a diagnosis. It is a symptom which may represent any one of a number of underlying problems ( problems in the inner ear, vestibular nerve or in brain itself.).  Best to check with your doc so that you understand the cause and specific treatment of your vertigo.

: There are many factors that would affect this-like how the injury occurred, what part of the head was injured, how easily the patient bleeds normally, presence of blood thinning medicines, etc. If someone has a head injury and then they develop new symptoms like increased sleepiness, confusion, increased headache, seizure, etc., they should go to the ER for re-evaluation. do i still need to be concerned about a slow brain bleed 3 weeks after a concussion? i didn't have a ct scan or mri but i did go to er & dr. they said 0 chance of bleed but i'm still worried because i'm dizzy and have headaches everyday?

Likely stable: A concussion by definition is head trauma resulting in acute loss of consciousness, loss of memory, or combination of both.  The ER physician did not apparently see additional problems at the time.  Dizziness and headaches are common sequelae from acute head injuries.  Since you appear concerned, suggest you discuss your symptoms with your doctor and decide whether further evaluation is warranted.

: Assuming the bleeding is within the brain (and not outside the brain within the skull), then, yes, this is considered a hemorrhagic stroke. If a stroke is due to a blood clot of a blood vessel going to the brain, this is called a thrombotic stroke. Best of luck to you!

Yes and no: Usually drs order scans to see the brain when pts. Have symptoms. Ir  bleeding is present it may correlate with  headaches, dizziness, paralysis or any symptom. Bleeding may worsen causing death if not tx. Small bleeding may dissolve by itself.
