i have genital warts which i just had treated.my question is can you get genital warts on your breasts and other parts of your body?

Genital Warts: Warts are due to an infection with human papilloma virus. There are over 75 related viruses in the hpv family. Some of the subtypes are carcinogenic, and other subtypes have a predilection to develop in certain areas. They are transmited by skin to skin contact and minor trauma with breaks in the stratum corneum facilitates epidermal infection.  The answer to a "can " question is always yes.

i just noticed a few warts on my palms. can these transfer to other parts of my body? would warts on hands be the same strain as genital hpv?

Warts may transfer: Yes, warts may transfer to other parts of your body. As you stated, warts are caused by HPV which is a virus. Most often this virus is spread by scratching a wart and then scratching another area of your body, damaging the skin barrier, and letting the virus in. In the vast majority of cases the HPV strains that caus warts on the hands are NOT the same strain that cause genital warts.

Pap smear: Any hpv strain can show up anywhere. Wart causing hpv (6, 11) occur anywhere.

It depends on the strain and your immune status.  It is usually years to see dysplasia develop.

is it normal to get gental warts and skin tags at the same time? 1st time for both. the warts were treated but how do i get rid of the tags?

Skin Tags: In most cases, doctors will just clip skin tags with a pair of surgical scissors. Because skin tags are usually quite small, many people don't even need an anesthetic. The area may bleed a little afterward. Larger skin tags may need minor surgery.

plantar wart for around 4 months now,cluster together on one foot but same foot their are small ones. would i get all of them cut out at the same time?

Warts: If conservative care is exhausted , then surgical resection can be a good option.  I use a CO2 laser for this when needed as it is much more precise than conventional surgery with a  scalpel blade .

i touch my boyfriend penis several times (but didnt have sex)and after it i touch my pubic zone with the same hand, it is possible that i get wart on my mons pubis or get hpv?

: If your boyfriend has HPV, touching his penis and then touching your genital area without thoroughly washing your hands may spread HPV if the mucosal surface of the vagina is touched.  Likelihood is small, but "possible".

i recently had a wart on my finger and at the same time few warts started developing in my groin area, near the base of my penis. can the ones in my groin area be common warts and not genital warts? would my new born niece get hpv if i carried her?

warts are most commonly found on the hands followed by the sole of the foot.

Yes: Although it is unusual for HPV induced genital warts to spread to other skin sites, they can spread to mucous membranes and also to the vocal cords. SO, if you have active genital lesions, partner should avoid oral sex. Also can transmit to infant during birth, so make sure to tell OB if you have lesions and you are pregnant. Then you both can discuss options to reduce risk of transmission.

Treatment: For warts on the fingers, the quickest treatment is to have them frozen with liquid nitrogen. Dermatologists and some family doctors an internists perform this procedure.
