Warts may transfer: Yes, warts may transfer to other parts of your body. As you stated, warts are caused by HPV which is a virus. Most often this virus is spread by scratching a wart and then scratching another area of your body, damaging the skin barrier, and letting the virus in. In the vast majority of cases the HPV strains that caus warts on the hands are NOT the same strain that cause genital warts.

No: HPV is a common virus in nature and has dozens of strains that effect humans, The strains are like families & each has a preferred tissue where it lives/is found. The common genital wart strains ( 6,11 & others) are different from those that show up on the skin/palms (1,2,4 & others). The warts on your palm may find their way to spread to other regular skin sites.
