pressure in back of head and pressure in upper jaw. can tmj or a tension headache cause this? i have been very stressed lately and have been getting tension headaches often but never had upper jaw pressure?

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Drink more water. Wish you good health!

quick click and pain in right temple area. now that area feels pressured slight headache looks normal. hist tmj and tension headaches. should i worry?

A few ideas: May just be a temporary flare of symptoms. Self treat with soft diet, jaw exercises, massage, heat/cold, OTC pain meds. Plus any treatment you already use.
If persistent symptoms, see TMJ-orofacial pain expert. Any dentist can be a TMJ expert with the proper training and experience. Most commonly, oral surgeons, prosthodontists, and orofacial pain specialists. Ask your MD or dentist for referral.

i have tmj. lately i've been getting maybe a tmj flare? i'm getting facial pressure and tightness in my cheeks and jaw like a facial headache as well as jaw pain, cramps and spasms. also my teeth are aching at times. can tmj mimic sinus type symptoms?

can migraines be on both sides? i have really bad tmj and i have been getting a tension type headache, watery eyes, facial pressure/pain. i also get muscle cramps, spasms in my one temple when i have a flare besides my jaw/cheek. or is this tmj flare?

: Your question is challenging. Migraine can be on both sides, but tension headache and and tmj can give pain In similar locations.
If you have other symptoms like nausea, visual changes, or neurodeficits , migraine is likely.
If your pain is frequent and/or severe I’d see a neurologist who specializes in headaches.

TMJ: It can via the dental or trigeminal nerve but i would also see an ENT to check it out

: Hello! Hope you are doing fine. TMJ disorder can cause ear pain, ear fullness, and sometimes tinnitus on the affected side, certain positions of jaw muscles may trigger the pain of TMJ, and bending over may or may not trigger the pain.

can tmj cause difficulty swallowing ear pain headache pain at base of head like where the little nubs as i call them stick out 
on one side espically when ear starts to hurt?

Rule out ear problem: Ruling out ear infection is especially important so that the possibility of hearing loss can be avoided.  Also it is important that your physician rule out the possibility of infection the ear first  before making the assumption that the problem is related to TMJ. See your PCP.
