should i be worried if i can't see my tonsils?

Small tonsils: Don't worry .  The tonsils are supposed to atrophy and get smaller over time. If you can't see them, they must be small. They make antibodies early in life but gradually lose this function,  after the age of three. You are lucky not to have any problems with your tonsils.

i think i have strep throat but i can't see my tonsils to check for white spots. i have a cough, very painful throat, mild fever, headache?

Strep throat?: If you are concerned that you have strep throat, see you doctor. He/she may be able to do a screening test. Strep needs to be treated with antibiotics. All the best.

my right tonsils bigger then the other there's no pain and i can swallow fine but i can't see my left tonsil i have had tonsil stones b4 nd postnasal?

Asymmetric tonsils: What you are describing is asymmetric tonsils.  This really needs to be evaluated.  At your age, it is likely a result of infection or tonsil stones.  It could also possibly be due to simply the perception of asymmetry.  More concerning is the rare possibility of a mass within the tonsil that is enlarged.  Evaluation is necessary and oftentimes, tonsillectomy is required to rule out a mass.

i have one of those white hard thing stuck in my tonsil for 7 months now i can see it but i can't get it out it?

Tonsillith: The tonsils have crypts in them.  Debris accumulates in them and form "stones" or "tonsil-liths".  They can be the cause of bad breath and have some associated discomfort.  If you cannot take the end of a blunt tooth brush and express it out,  and it is a source of problems. For you, see your pcp or ENT and have them examine the area.  Gargle alot with salt water.

how can  a dr. test you to see if you need your tonsils out?

Options: Most surgeons (ENT) would check the tonsils for evidence of infection or enlargement.  This would involve an examination or scope in the office in most people.

i have the discomfort and now i can see what look like little holes all over my right tonsil. not my left. what can cause holes? is it normal?

May be physiologic :   And maybe physiologic was the other thing one would consider is whether it is infected since it is tender. This is something discuss with your physician and maybe get a culture

i have a hole in my tonsil. not a tiny one either. looks like it has been slit open. when i look at it i can see it open and close. it's not bleeding.

Tonsil crypt?: May be a deep crypt in the tonsil but best to have it examined by your otlaryngologist to determine the exact cause.

i have a large hole on one of my tonsils and on the inside it appears to be blue tissue. is it normal to see blue tissue inside a tonsil crypt? usually they just look like little black holes right?

: A plexus is a group of veins and are within the tonsillar tissue. These drain blood into the jugular venous system and I assume the blue tissue you're referring to are veins within the tonsil crypts containing unoxygenated blood.

i have a huge tonsil stone i can't push out. i can taste it and smell it and see it. how can i remove it?

Use finger: Use finger to dial your Physician or go to Urgent Care.  A medical specialist will be able to visualize the area and will have the knowledge and instruments required to help you.

i have a piece of porridge stuck behind my tonsil and i can't get it out. i'm worried it will rot and make me ill. should i leave it or see a doctor?

If its bothering you: that much,see a Dr. and have it removed. It may rot,but that won't make you ill.
