I have a hole in my tonsil. not a tiny one either. looks like it has been slit open. when i look at it i can see it open and close. it's not bleeding.

Tonsil crypt?: May be a deep crypt in the tonsil but best to have it examined by your otlaryngologist to determine the exact cause.

Tonsils: This can be a very normal appearance for tonsils when someone is an adult. The tonsils are smooth in young children, but can become quite cryptic (cratered) in adults. Only a problem if catches food excessively.
