Tonsil crypt?: May be a deep crypt in the tonsil but best to have it examined by your otlaryngologist to determine the exact cause.

Tonsils: This can be a very normal appearance for tonsils when someone is an adult. The tonsils are smooth in young children, but can become quite cryptic (cratered) in adults. Only a problem if catches food excessively.
