No: Tinnitus can be caused by a number of disease entities which include hearing loss, head injury, tmd, viral infection, dental infection.  It is therefore non-specific and  there is evidence that it is the result of synchronous discharge of neurons in the auditory nervous system of the brain.  There is no evidence that sleeping with ear plugs would cause tinnitus.

Most likely pressure: buildup from being "plugged" for a period of time.  Or you may have an infection, or fluid buildup behind your eardrum from allergies.  Or you may have a nerve inflammation from viral or bacterial infections elsewhere. i went to ent for intermittent ear pain and itchiness & i have mild external otitis especially in left ear.he said that ear plugs i wear in sleep might be the cause.he gave me ointment and ear drops.should i avoid earplugs for some days or i can use?

: If earplugs are indeed the culprit then you should stop using those for now until your ear canals are healed then you may use a new pair, and a different brand is preferred because contact dermatitis, rather than infection, could be the culprit. Good luck.

Sleep: Eat plugs are cheap, and can be found at any hardware store. Another thing you can do is speak with the neighbors directly, or speak with the landlord. In the worst possible case, speak with the police.

Safe ones are safe: Commercial ones cannot get deep into canal, so they are physically safe. Of course you could miss hearing a smoke alarm, or emergency call or intruder, but that's not really the same as causing harm. Just don't push them in too far and sleep well.

sleep with ear plugs every night, change them 1x monthly. inner ear itchy hurt and peeling by end of month. what should i be doing? go to my dermatologist ?

Ear plugs: are associated with a buildup of WAX (Cerumen) in the ear canal... You should have your ears examined since this does not usually result in itchiness.(more likely due to a  "dandruff - like condition of the ears/scalp (seborrhea)

Possibly: If the ear plug is small enough that is possible.  Why do you wear ear plugs at time of sleep?  That is the more important question.  Doing this may eventually cause irritation of the ear canal skin and could lead to external otitis, infection of the skin of the external ear canal.

Your boyfriend is: The one who may need help.  The most extreme possible fix is surgery but there are also sprays that can be squirted up the nose before bed, strips that can be put on the nose, and other devices that can be experimented with.  If you think he stops breathing sometimes he may have sleep apnea and his doc can have a sleep lab study done to find out.  Peace and good health.

Have him checked: Best to have him checked for medical conditions such as obstructive sleep apnea.  Snoring can sometimes be a clue to that disease.  He may have larger tonsils that affect snoring as well.  Many hospitals have sleep labs and your dr. May even be able to order a home sleep study on him.  This would be the best step to get his snoring evaluated, ....Best wishes.

Normal anatomy: You are hearing the pulsation of the internal carotid artery which anatomically is located near the ear no point in worrying.
