Have him checked: Best to have him checked for medical conditions such as obstructive sleep apnea. Snoring can sometimes be a clue to that disease. He may have larger tonsils that affect snoring as well. Many hospitals have sleep labs and your dr. May even be able to order a home sleep study on him. Osa is treated with CPAP device. Additionally sound canceling devices can be used as a last resort they cancel the sound of snoring and you hear nothing.

R/O OSA. : VIDEOTAPE HIM SLEEPING. . OSA SX: Excess snoring/daytime sleepiness/apneic episodes/ aM headaches. And the Exam obesity/small oral airway/collar size>18. The definitive test is a PSG with split night/CPAP titration. I would request copy of sleep study and get a second opinion if you are not satisfied with the options. You are young CPAP can be difficult to tolerate. ENT FOR UPP EVAL.
