Pregnancy is difficult in the best of circumstances and anxiety,panic and depression make it harder. If is probably okay to start a medication since you are near the end of your pregnancy. Counseling, meds and exercise can all help lift anxiety and depression. Many women feel better after delivery.

Low risk: Risk may be increased during the third trimester, there is a risk of withdrawal symptoms for your baby after birth. There is inconclusive risk of persistent pulmonary hypertension or autism in the baby. Depends: The fetus is somewhat protected from any emotional issues. They feed &amp; grow with a placenta designed to extract all they need to survive. Maternal stress can accelerate maturity of some systems but not in a negative way. If your issues cause you to self harm, do drugs or take worrisome meds it may affect the fetus.

Panic in the car.: Breath in slowly &amp; deeply through your nostrils. Fill your lungs with air (but not to the point of discomfort). Hold for a count of five then slowly begin to exhale through an open mouth. Repeat at least 12 times, longer if you need to.  Wonder if you have motion sickness with hyperventilation that transitions into panic. Get checked. Take care.

Epilepsy: A panic attack might precipitate a seizure in a person with pre-existing epilepsy, but shouldn't in a non-epileptic person.
