Maybe: It could be, but if it doesn't go away with a bowel movement, you should get it checked.  In addition, if you haven't had a bowel movement in more than a few days, you should also be seen by a doctor, especially if this is not normal for you.

Yes: Dilation of the rectum and/or pressure on the pelvic structures form dilated colon can indeed cause discomfort that goes into the pelvic and groin area. Increase fiber, increase fluids and if continued constipation, talk to doc about use of stool softeners like miralax (polyethylene glycol).

Yes: Constipation can definitely cause regional pain, including back pain.  Mag citrate can be very effective for constipation.  If your symptoms persist after treating your constipation, see a physician for further evaluation.

related to defecation, associated with a change in form of stool, criteria must be met for 3 months.

Possible: That would be a likely explanation.  When you bear down you vasalva and increase your intra-abdominal pressure quite a bit. 
This can cause pressure in the area where you can get a hernia and that can cause pain. Some people will get  a hernia.

hello. i took a 4th gen hiv test after 50 days (7 weeks) of exposure. came out negative. i had chronic diarrea and chronic sore throat when testing. now constipation, groin pain and low 4.9 wbc. do i have to retest given my persistent symptoms?

: As per current guidelines, if the 4th-generation combination assay is negative, the person is considered HIV-uninfected, and no further testing needs to be done but I think you should repeat the test one more time combining with HIV RNA test (either qualitative or quantitative) to be more accurate if both of these tests negative then you may have something else. Hernia?: Any mention of groin pain raises the possibility of a hernia, which would typically be associated with a lump that is larger with standing and coughing.
