Don't waste $ on Calcium pills. Vitamin D is good.

See below: It has been said. That strontium can increase bone density test, but this may appear more impressive than it really is because strontium in bone can affect bone density interpretation.  Radiologist needs to be informed if you are taking strontium.

Avoid or limit smoking, alcohol, and sodas. Muscle building exercises stimulate bones to take in more calcium. Many prescription meds can cause bone loss; talk to your doctor about these.
