Dental infections: Dental infections can spread to cause pharyngitis and may not always cause a fever in the early stages. Please see a local dentist  for an evaluation asap. Infections can spread quickly, and even be life threatening.

can impacted wisdom teeth cause swollen lymph node in neck? i noticed it and i don't know why it's there and i'm worried. going to the dr later this month?

Get examined: I would suggest contacting the doctor that removed your wisdom teeth tomorrow to have them evaluate the areas of surgery and your throat to be sure that everything is healing properly.

Coincidental: Probably 2 separate problems.  Both need attention.  See Primary Care Physician, referral to ENT Specialist may be in order.  See your General Dentist, referral to Oral Surgeon may be in order.

i've been in bed for a few days due to a tooth, neck, jaw, and throat infection and the medications for it. i haven't had much to eat of course but as in feeling better i've noticed that if i'm up for more than a few minutes, i get a horrible sinking feel

Eat and drink: With all those pains you probably haven't been eating properly or drinking enough liquids (including electrolytes) to help you stay stron and feel better.  Force yourself to eat and go buy some gatorade or like liquid.  And do move around, because laying around for many just makes you more tired.  Then schedule an appointemtn with your md or dmd.  Earl.

i'm taking amoxicillin 500mg for a tooth infection and i contracted what i believe to be a throat infection. should i go to the doctor if i'm already on penicillin?

Yes: Contracting a throat infection while on penicillin indicate resistant bactria that might need a throat swap and culture to be able to prescribe the right antibiotic to treat it.

No: See your dentist. Don't mask the pain with an antibiotic. The antibiotic will not make the dental problem disappear.
