Depending: On how long you used it and how much probably 3-4 days. Couldn't you take a letter from your doc stating you had a prescription to use them??

So many variables: There are so many variables that will affect the results of drug testing. In most instances letting those ordering the test know what medications you take will help them interpret the results.

Positive for what?: What did you test positive for? Was it a screening test or was it followed by a confirmatory test. Screening tests may have false positive result.

Sudafed overdose: Sudafed overdose can cause seizures, hallucinations, high blood pressure, rapid breathing, irregular heartbeat, difficulty in breathing and restlessness.Maximum recommended dose for adults over 24 hours is 240 mgm.
Only tests done are ekg, CBC and metabolic panel and urine analysis.But diagnosis is made by history of ingestion and physical exam.
Labs help in treatment planning, IV fluids and supportive.

It : It is possible to get a false positive result for amphetamines  in patients using sudafed ( which contains Pseudoephedrine ) because it is similar in structure chemically. It is seen because of cross-reactivity in tests that use antibodies to screen for amphetamines. More specific tests can differentiate between the two.

Not likely, but: Normally when a drug screening test is administered they ask you to list all medications that you are currently taking. This is so that if they do find a positive, they can take extra steps to verify that whatever caused the positive isn't something you listed. Don't take it between now and the test if you're worried - by 48 hrs, it should not show up anyway. Best!

Good question: Speak with your examiner to determine which meds should be continued or stopped.  The klonipen and geodon are more significant relating to the EEG

Yes: It is very possible and it does happen.  I suggest you notify the person asking for the test of this.  You might need a Dr. note to excuse this if it does show up.  It really depends on the dose and how soon you took it to your test.

Depends on test: Different test kits have different sensitivities, and it also depends on the amount of time between the ingestion and the test, as well as differences in individual metabolism.  The test that is positive is a screening test, and should always be followed by a definitive test which can and should easily tell the difference between pseudephedrine and amphetamine.

I wouldn't : Recommend doing this. If you can't take any medications that would cause you test positive on some form of drug testing then consider  starting with really good sleep hygiene. Retire ; rise same time each day. Keep bedroom dark ; cool ; use only for sex ; sleep. Turn off tv. No naps. Exercise regularly but not in late evening. No caffeine for 6 hrs ; no alcohol or tobacco w/i 2 hrs of sleep. Keep.
