What does sudafed show up as in a drug test i take sinus medicine and just had a drug test and wanted to know how it shows in a drug test

It : It is possible to get a false positive result for amphetamines in patients using sudafed ( which contains Pseudoephedrine ) because it is similar in structure chemically. It is seen because of cross-reactivity in tests that use antibodies to screen for amphetamines. More specific tests can differentiate between the two.

Amphetamine: The molecules are very similar, and screening tests will often come back positive for amphetamine with pseudephedrine and similar drugs. A confirmatory test should be done with any positive, and will distinguish between the two.
