I have a drug test for a new job this week and have been taking sudafed and a friend said i may fail the drug test because of it, is this true?

Not likely, but: Normally when a drug screening test is administered they ask you to list all medications that you are currently taking. This is so that if they do find a positive, they can take extra steps to verify that whatever caused the positive isn't something you listed. Don't take it between now and the test if you're worried - by 48 hrs, it should not show up anyway. Best!
